LUNG CUNG TREKKING TOUR – THE OCEAN OF CLOUDS OF THE NORTHWEST

Difficulty: 6/10 – Medium

If you are looking for a place with diverse terrain (bamboo forests, grassy hills, dense forests) and can see far away to the surrounding villages, do not miss the Lung Cung Trekking Tour (Yen Bai).

Lung Cung is probably the last name mentioned in the mountains of Yen Bai. At an altitude of 2913m above sea level, Lung Cung is named after a village deep in the rugged mountains of Nam Co commune, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province. The climate here is very fresh with rich vegetation, with 6 special “tree species”: Red Maple forest, Nam Co bamboo forest, ancient reed forest, reed grass forest, rhododendron forest and ancient apple forest.

But the most attractive thing is that this place still retains its pristine beauty and has never been affected by humans. Through the special forests above, if you are lucky, you will see the ocean of clouds on Lung Cung peak. This is also one of the peaks with a fairly large and open area that a helicopter can land on.
